Designed in 1967 for Lapponia, the iconic Tunturi (“Fell”) bracelet is a magnificent early showcase of Björn Weckström’s pioneering Space Age and organic aesthetic. Cast in warm 14k yellow gold, the bracelet is composed of heavily textured, rectangular hinged links whose deeply cratered surfaces capture the stark, rugged beauty of the windswept Lapland mountain plateaus. Each articulated bar segment articulates smoothly, allowing the structured 6.4 mm band to drape with incredible flexibility and ergonomic comfort around the wrist across its 17.5 cm length.
